WORSHIP

Worship is an outward demonstration of an inward passion, affection, reverence, and honor for our God. The Hebrew and Greek expressions have a wide variance of meanings including bowing down before in reverence, kissing toward in affection, proclaiming exuberant praise, and expressing heartfelt gratitude. Worship is a spiritual act that is demonstrated in many ways including expressions of musical praise, giving, prayer, reception and response to the Word of God and movement of the Spirit, and ministering to others. Worship is Loving God Out Loud in demonstrations motivated by Him and directed toward glorifying Him. Dynamic worship is a top priority of First Baptist Whitewright. When we come together in agreement and expectation of the dynamic presence and movement of God's Spirit each week, we are never disappointed!
