Worship Minister, Brian Boaen
Brian became a member of First Baptist in 2002 and became a part of the adult and youth praise bands in 2004. In May of 2008 our pastor recommended he serve as interim Worship Minister and he was given the opportunity to lead worship. After several months of prayer and deliberation, and observing the passion and anointing of God on Brian, the search committee recommended he serve as our full time Worship Minister. The church family confirmed him as part of our staff in January, 2009. Brian's passion and anointing is for leading in worship that is Christ centered and empowered by the movement of the Holy Spirit.
Shout for joy to the LORD, all the earth. Worship the LORD with gladness; come before him with joyful songs. Know that the LORD is God. It is he who made us, and we are his; we are his people, the sheep of his pasture. Enter his gates with thanksgiving and his courts with praise; give thanks to him and praise his name.
