Statement of Faith
The Bible is God’s written Word, infallible in message and the ultimate authority in testing all faith and practice.
God is the one eternal God existent in three divine persons, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
The arch enemy of God and all that is God’s is Satan (the Devil), the fallen angel who led the rebellion through which one third of the angels fell.
Creation is the handiwork of the Sovereign God Who by intelligent and intentional design fashioned the universe.
Creation is affected by the curse of sin and death through man’s disobedience under Satan’s influence. Consequently, mankind is inherently depraved.
God’s plan for mankind is one of redemption, reconciliation, and restoration as He has demonstrated grace in Jesus Christ, the Son.
God the Son was born of a virgin, sinless in humanity, sacrificial in death as our substitute, and gloriously resurrected. He eternally intercedes as Advocate and High Priest for all who receive His grace.
Salvation is realized by all who receive Christ in repentance and faith, believing His atoning death and glorious resurrection, confessing Him as Lord.
Salvation is all of God’s grace and none of man’s efforts or merits.
All believers are immersed in Christ by the Holy Spirit and are the children of God, eternally secure, sealed and indwelt with God’s Spirit.
Salvation is only the beginning of an eternal relationship and process of spiritual growth and transformation into the likeness of our Savior, Jesus Christ.
The Church is the Body of Christ composed of all who are in Christ.
The local church is a fellowship of believers who have entered a covenant relationship to grow together in Christ and demonstrate His grace and mercy in the witness of our message and testimony of our living.
The church demonstrates the reality of our immersion into Christ through the symbolic observance of water baptism of believers as a public confession of faith in Christ.
The church demonstrates the reality of our communion with Christ through the symbolic observance of partaking of unleavened bread and the fruit of the vine which represent His broken body and shed blood for our atonement.
The church is an embassy of hope in proclaiming the gospel and demonstrating God’s grace in a world of crisis and need.
The Church is the Bride of Christ, and He shall return at the end of the Age to reclaim us fully as we experience bodily resurrection and ultimate glorification.
